WELCOME TO THE NEWEST DIVISION OF TLC HOMESCHOOLERS
To meet the needs of our littlest homeschoolers, TLC is creating a group of homeschool families whose oldest homeschooled child is in 2nd grade or UNDER . Our purpose is to unite like minded Christians who have the desire to homeschool their children for the glory of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. This group will focus on the specific educational and social needs of preschool and early elementary homeschoolers. Veteran homeschool families working with their second set of kids are more than welcomed to join in the fun. Your years of experience will be most welcomed.
Our first get together will take place on Thursday, September 24th 10:30am at Ballenger Creek Park in Frederick Maryland. We will gather at the top playground for a "meet and greet session" and to discuss our first goal: MONTHLY PLAY DATES. Bring a bag lunch and picnic blanket. Expect to have lots of laughs while making new homeschool friends. RAIN DATE for this event will be Thursday, October 1st.
Future goals of the group may include educational classes for both the kids and moms. Parent topics for discussion may include: Teaching Reading, Hands On Math, Entertaining Toddlers during school time, How do I get it all done, and much more. Children's classes may include: physical education, fine motor art, life science, community helpers, or music fun.

TLC has the goal of ministering to all stages of homeschooling including our "Little Learners". Let us join together and come along side one another as we impart homeschool wisdom to the next generation.
