TLC BACK TO SCHOOL PICNIC 2012
MARK YOUR CALENDARS NOW FOR ALL THE FUN.

This event is preceded by a Jacobi River Baptism at 4:00pm. We would be honored if you would attend this special family event.
The Training for Life in Christ (TLC) Homeschooers would like to invite you to our Annual Back to School Picnic. Mark your calendars now for Saturday, August 25th at 4:30pm at Buckeystown Park off Michael's Mill Road located between Rt. 85 and Rt. 80. Bring two dishes to share (main, side or dessert).
Also bring lawn chairs, bathing suits, fishing poles, etc. for fun in a shallow part of the Monocacy river. Wear old tennis shoes to wade in and bring nets and buckets for catching critters. There are areas for horseshoes, volleyball and a jungle gym, so please bring equipment to share. Drinks, paper products and fellowship will be provided. This is a wonderful opportunity to bring an interested family to find out more about homeschooling and the many programs offered by TLC.

Parking is limited so prepare to park along the road if necessary. Bathroom facilities only include a "somewhat roomy" port-a-john so plan accordingly. In case of questionable weather, check back to this website for more information and possible alternate location.

Take 15 South/ 270 South
To Rt. 85 South toward Buckeystown/Adamstown
When you get to the heart of Buckeystown,
Turn LEFT onto Michael's Mill Road across from Bodmer Stoves
After seeing the river on left, watch for tricky one lane curve
Buckeystown Park will be on your LEFT.
Directions from Montgomery County:
Take 270 North
To 80 West
After passing over the Monocacy River Bridge
Make your next RIGHT onto Michael's Mill Road.
Buckeystown Park will be on your RIGHT.
